At long last autumn is here, along with some long-awaited features in the ércule app.
What can you do with these new features?
- Topic-based keyword research
- Monitor your site’s topical authority
- Share workspaces with your collaborators
- Set up more specific content filters in your library
Excited? We are too. Let’s look at each one.
Find new keywords with the Topic Explorer
This is currently a gated beta feature – if you’re curious, send us a message and we’ll give you access. We’d love to hear what you think!
With the Topic Explorer, you can now search for a topic in your library to see all semantically-related keywords, with monthly search volume, competition and your current performance for the keyword included.
The Topic Explorer will also surface the pages in your library that are ranking highest for each longtail keyword.
Wondering if a topic is worth pursuing in organic search? The Topic Explorer will answer some baseline questions about volume and competition right away. It will also help you decide whether to create new content or simply update an existing page in order to win a keyword in SERPs.
Monitor your topical authority with Topic Reporting
This is also a gated beta feature – if you’re curious, get in touch with us and we’ll give you access. We’d appreciate your feedback!
With Topic Reporting, you can pin any topic to get deeper analysis, including month-over-month data about how well that entire topic is doing in search (via clicks and impressions) and what your top performing keywords and pages are.
The trend chart looks at your library performance on the whole:
- Are you generating impressions + clicks at all?
- What does it look like over the past year?
The Topics table answers questions about specific queries within a topic:
- Which queries are you competing for right now?
- What is the average rank for each keyword?
- What kind of clicks + impressions is your site generating for the keyword?
Invite your team to shared workspaces
Your content libraries now live inside of a workspace, and workspace access can now be shared with other users.
For example: create a workspace for just your personal libraries or create a company workspace with libraries for your marketing site, documentation site and beyond.
To add team members to your workspace, go to:
Settings -> Workspace -> Manage members
Use new filters to create more specific libraries
The library creation process has been entirely reworked and now includes enhanced filtering options for domains and page paths.
Plus helpful guidance for building well-sized, data-rich libraries.
